Fantasy Premier League - Game Week 2

The Fantasy Premier League is well and truly underway. We take a look at the best picks for Game Week 2 including Bruno Fernandes & Lucas Digne.

Captain

Bruno Fernandes (£10.5m) – Man United

Whilst it would be easy to stick with Aubameyang from last week (or Salah as I’m sure many of you have), another good pick would be Bruno Fernandes. United kick off at home to Crystal Palace, a game they should be winning if they are to reach the top 4 again.

Goalkeeper

Bernd Leno (£5m) – Arsenal

Still cannot quite believe that the German is only £5m compared to some other keepers valued higher. No one made more saves in the league last year than Leno until his injury. West Ham looked toothless against Newcastle and should struggle against the Gunners.

Defender

Lucas Digne (£6m) – Everton

The French full back showed his ability from set pieces against Spurs when he set up Calvert-Lewin for the winner. He will be confident of contributing more against a West Brom side who struggled against Leicester.

Midfielder

Jack Harrison (£5.5m) – Leeds

After his wonder goal against Liverpool, winger Harrison will be full of confidence going into Leeds first home game against Fulham. He scored against Fulham in June when Leeds beat the London side 3-0 on their way to the Championship title.

Striker

Callum Wilson (£6.5m) – Newcastle

The Geordies looked much improved in their opening day win over West Ham. New signing Wilson looks to have settled in instantly, scoring on his debut. Newcastle face Brighton at St James Park and will be confident of continuing their good start.

Wildcard

Ollie Watkins (£6m) – Aston Villa

Villa’s new striker from Brentford may be a good pick. Villa face Sheffield United at home in their first game, an ideal start for the man who scored 26 league goals last season.
