Fantasy Premier League - Game Week 3

Key players this week!

Welcome to our weekly team selection for all your Fantasy Premier League Football needs this Game Week 3.

Fantasy Premier League - Game Week 3

The Fantasy Premier League is in full swing but do these players make it into your starting 11. We take a look at the best picks for Game Week 3 including Timo Werner & Gabriel Jesus.

Captain

Timo Werner (£9.5m) – Chelsea

After a quiet start for the German so far, this is the week to gamble on him. With other top teams having fairly difficult games, Chelsea play a West Brom team who have conceded 8 in 2 games so far. Werner will not have a better chance to open his account for the London side.

Goalkeeper

Rui Patricio (£5.5m) – Wolves

Wolves’ opponents West Ham did okay against Arsenal, but there is clearly unrest at the London side. Wolves will look to take advantage and should do okay against a side who have struggled in front of goal so far.

Defender

Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.5m) – Liverpool

Arsenal had one of the worst records last season with goals conceded from set pieces. Trent will be confident of setting up a goal or 2 from his corners and free kicks. Can our GW1 selection repay our faith this time around?

Midfielder

Daniel Podence (£5.5m) – Wolves

Podence looks very cheap at £5.5m. With Jota leaving, he has been the man to link up with Jimenez so far this season and they have looked lethal together. Podence has set up the Mexican forward twice in 2 games already.

Striker

Gabriel Jesus (£9.5m) – Man City

City’s Brazilian forward has a terrific record against their next opponents Leicester. He has scored 4 times in as many games against the Foxes including a winner last season at the King Power stadium.

Wildcard

Phil Foden (£6.5m) – Man City

Phil Foden at 6.5m across the season could be an absolute gem, providing he gets the game time. Regardless of that, expect Foden to start in GW3 on the right hand side of Gabriel Jesus. A goal and an assist in an open game against Leicester is not out of the question.
