This week's highest scoring players.

Fantasy Team Of The Week - GW3

GW3 was an underwhelming week for many, with some shock results. We take a look back at the best performers this week including, Vardy, Bowen & Mings in our Fantasy Team of the Week.

Goalkeeper

Illan Meslier – Leeds (£4.5m) – 10 pts

Some unbelievable saves and a clean sheet for the Leeds stopper earned him a well deserved 10 points. One to watch if he continues this form.

Defenders

Arthur Masuaku – West Ham (£4.5m) – 12 pts

West Ham were hugely impressive in their 4-0 win over Wolves. Full back Masuaku got an assist, clean sheet, and 3 bonus points giving him a total of 12.

Tyrone Mings – Aston Villa (£5m) – 12 pts

Villa continued their good start with a second win in a row against Fulham. England defender Mings scored and kept a clean sheet, Villa’s second in a row.

Andrew Robertson – Liverpool (£7m) – 10 pts

Robbo recovered from his error leading to Arsenal’s opener by scoring himself. The Scotland left-back is looking as good a pick as Trent now as he takes on more responsibility on free kicks and corners.

Midfielders

Jarod Bowen – West Ham (£6.3m) – 15 pts

A brilliant performance from goalscoring winger Bowen in the Hammers demolition of Wolves. He opened the scoring with a lovely finish before adding another to earn himself 15 points.

Conor Hourihane – Aston Villa (£6m) – 14 pts

Republic of Ireland midfielder Hourihane chipped in with a goal and an assist for Villa in their 3-0 win over Fulham. Another clean sheet and 3 bonus points earned Hourihane 14 points this week.

Mason Mount – Chelsea (£6.9m) – 12 pts

A goal and an assist from the Portsmouth born midfielder helped save Chelsea from an embarrassing defeat to West Brom. His goal was a delightful strike from outside the box which gave the keeper no chance.

Riyad Mahrez – Manchester City (£8.4m) – 12 pts

Mahrez and City got off to a great start against Leicester, with him scoring a thunderbolt on his weaker foot. With an assist also on his profile this week, Mahrez could be a key man going forward.

Bruno Fernandes – Manchester United (£10.5m) – 12 pts

A highly controversial penalty, awarded after the final whistle, saved United and gave Bruno Fernandes the points needed to make it into TOTW. He also provided an assist to make up for giving away a penalty earlier in the game and receiving a yellow card.

Strikers

Jamie Vardy – Leicester City (£10m) – 17 pts

This week’s highest-scoring player is the Foxes talisman Vardy. 2 penalties (set-piece takers) and a sublime little flick past City keeper Ederson gave Vardy a hat trick in an unexpected 5-2 win for Leicester.

Callum Robinson – West Brom (£5.5m) – 13 pts

Robinson has only scored 3 Premier League goals in his career. All 3 happen to have been against Chelsea, including 2 this week. The Baggies forward took advantage of some woeful Chelsea defending to almost give his side an unlikely victory.
