FPL Team Of The Week - GW7

This week's highest scoring players.

FPL Team Of The Week - GW7

We take a look back at the best performers this week including, Vardy, Grealish & Ziyech in our FPL Team of the Week – GW7.

Bernd Leno (£5m) – 7 pts

German stopper Leno kept a clean sheet at Old Trafford as Mikel Arteta’s men ground out a 1-0 win over Man United.

Ola Aina (£4.5m) – 15 pts

Fulham finally got their first victory in a 2-0 win over fellow strugglers West Brom. Aina scored a great goal and kept a clean sheet for the Cottagers.

Kyle Walker – Man City (£6m) – 15 pts

Our defensive tip this week was City full-back Kyle Walker, who scored the winner at his boyhood club Sheffield United.

Rayan Ait Nouri (£5m) – 15 pts

Another goalscoring defender makes the team. This time it is Frenchman Nouri for Wolves, who scored and helped keep a clean sheet in a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace.

Kurt Zouma (£5.2m) – 14 pts

The powerful French centre-back Zouma is turning into a goal machine for Chelsea. He netted his 3rd league goal of the season in a 3-0 win over Burnley.

James Ward-Prowse – Southampton (£5.9m) – 17 pts

Top scorer this week is Saints midfielder Ward Prowse. 2 goals and an assist in their 4-3 win over Villa meant Ward Prowse’s, and Southampton’s, fine recent form continues.

Jack Grealish – Aston Villa (£7.3m) – 15 pts

Youri Tielemans – Leicester City (£6.4m) – 15 pts

The classy Belgian midfielder netted twice in Leicester’s 4-1 win against Leeds. Thankfully for him, Jamie Vardy was subbed so Tielemans was able to take the late penalty.

Hakim Ziyech – Chelsea (£8m) – 14 pts

After a slow start due to injuries, new Chelsea man Ziyech looks to be finding his feet. The Moroccan international scored, made an assist, and earned a clean sheet point on his first league start.

Jamie Vardy – Leicester CIty (£10m) – 14 pts

Foxes talisman Vardy continued his early-season form, scoring once and assisting twice in their 4-1 romp at Elland Road.

Callum Wilson – Newcastle (£6.5m) – 12 pts

Another tip came off this weekend as Newcastle striker Wilson scored his 5th and 6th league goals of the season against an Everton side who looked very poor once again.
