FPL Team Of The Week - GW8

We take a look back at the best performers this week including, Eze, Watkins & Ziyech in our FPL Team of the Week – GW8

Lukasz Fabianski (£5m) – 15 pts

Matt Doherty (£5.8m) – 12 pts

Matt Targett  (£4.5m) – 11 pts

Villa were superb in their 3-0 hammering of Arsenal. Left-back Targett bagged an assist and clean sheet points.

Joel Veltman (£4.3m) – 9 pts

Brighton vs Burnley wasn’t the most exciting of games, but Veltman managed to earn 3 bonus points as well as a clean sheet.

Bruno Fernandes – Manchester United (£10.5m) – 17 pts

Not for the first time, Fernandes helped United recover from a bad loss midweek to earn Ole’s men all 3 points, scoring 2 in the process.

Eberechi Eze – Crystal Palace (£5.8m) – 13 pts

A goal and an assist for Eagles midfielder Eze helped Roy Hodgson’s side to an emphatic 4-1 win over Leeds.

Hakim Ziyech – Chelsea (£8.1m) – 11 pts

Mo Salah – Liverpool (£12.4m) – 9 pts

The Egyptian King scored the opener in Liverpool’s 1-1 draw with Man City as he netted from the penalty spot.

Stuart Armstrong – Southampton (£5.5m) – 10 pts

Saints continued their good form with a 2-0 win over Newcastle, with Armstrong netting one of the goals.

Ollie Watkins – Aston Villa (£10m) – 14 pts

Another 2 goals for Watkins this week as he helped Villa hammer Arsenal 3-0. With Villa’s upcoming fixtures, Watkins might be a must-have.

Gabriel Jesus – Manchester City (£9.3m) – 9 pts

Brazil striker Jesus scored City’s equalizer with a neat finish past his national teammate Alisson. Could be a great City option going forward.
