FPL Team Of The Week - GW10

We take a look back at the best performers this week including, Walker, Mahrez & Wilson in our FPL Team of the Week – GW10

Sam Johnstone (£4.5m) – 11 pts

The Baggies earned a big win against Sheffield United in their bottom of the table clash. Johnstone picked up a clean sheet, 2 save bonus points, and 3 more bonus points.

Benjamin Mendy – Manchester City (£5.9m) – 14 pts

The Frenchman had only accumulated 2 points before this weekend. A goal, clean sheet, and 2 bonus points against Burnley suggest he may be on the road back to his best form.

Angelo Ogbonna (£4.9m) – West Ham – 11 pts

It took just 2 minutes for the powerful centre back Ogbonna to open the scoring for West Ham against Villa. West Ham defenders are well worth picking this season.

Kyle Walker – Manchester City (£6.2m) – 9 pts

An assist and a clean sheet for England international Walker in City’s 5-0 demolition of Burnley. The Etihad was not Jordan North’s happy place this week.

Riyad Mahrez – Manchester City (£8.2m) – 21 pts

Jarrod Bowen – West Ham (£6.3m) – 13 pts

West Ham and Man City continue to dominate this week’s team. Bowen’s winner against Villa earns him his spot, as well as an assist for Ogbonna.

Pedro Neto – Wolves (£5.6m) – 11 pts

In a game overshadowed by Raul Jimenez’s horrific injury, Neto continued his fine form, scoring a goal and setting up Wolves’ winner against Arsenal.

James Ward Prowse – Southampton (£6.1m) – 11 pts

Ward Prowse set Saints up well in the first half with a goal and an assist to put them 2-0 ahead. Unfortunately for him, the second half didn’t go as well, as this man came off the bench…

Edinson Cavani – Manchester United (£8m) – 15 pts

We highlighted veteran forward Cavani a few weeks back and this is why. 2 goals and an assist off the bench earned United a thrilling 3-2 win at St Marys, one of his goals being a last-minute winner.

Callum Wilson – Newcastle (£6.5m) – 12 pts

England forward Wilson continues to impress for the Magpies. This week, he scored and assisted in Newcastle’s 2-0 win away to Crystal Palace.

Joelinton – Newcastle (£5.7m) – 11 pts

I never thought I’d see the day where I was writing a TOTW and Joelinton made it in. 2020 eh? Madness. Fully deserved, however, the £40m striker scored and assisted just like his strike partner Wilson as they dismantled the Eagles.
