FPL Team Of The Week - GW11

This week's highest scoring players.

FPL Team Of The Week - GW11

We take a look back at the best performers this week including, De Bruyne, Salah & Son in our FPL Team of the Week – GW11

Goalkeeper

Caoimhin Kelleher (£4.5m) – 7 pts

Hopefully, his name is spelled right there. If so, we are already doing better than the Liverpool kitman. The young Irish keeper kept a clean sheet in Liverpool’s 4-0 win over Wolves.

Defenders

Joel Matip – Liverpool (£5.4m) – 14 pts

A goal and a clean sheet for the big Cameroonian centre back. His partnership with Fabinho against Wolves was good enough to make you forget about Van Dijk’s injury for the day.

Jannik Vestergaard (£4.8m) – Southampton – 9 pts

Vestergaard scored Saints’ equalizer against Brighton late in the first half before Danny Ings secured all 3 points from the penalty spot.

Kurt Zouma – Chelsea (£5.7m) – 8 pts

Another header for the goal machine Zouma helped Chelsea on their way to a 3-1 win over Leeds, coming back after Bamford opened the scoring for Leeds early on.

Midfielders

Wilfried Zaha – Crystal Palace (£8.2m) – 21 pts

Mo Salah – Liverpool (£12.3m) – 14 pts

The Kop’s Egyptian King celebrated the return of fans to Anfield with a goal and an assist in their 4-0 demolition of Wolves.

Kevin De Bruyne – Manchester City (£11.8m) – 14 pts

City’s Belgian midfield maestro showed his class once again. KDB scored and made an assist in their 2-0 win over struggling Fulham.

Raheem Sterling – Manchester City (£11.4m) – 13 pts

England winger Sterling returned the favour to team mate De Bruyne as he also scored and set up a goal in a game which was pretty much over after 26 minutes.

Son Heung Min – Tottenham (£9.6m) – 13 pts

He’s back! Spurs’ Korean superstar returns to TOTW after scoring a superb goal from 25 yards against Arsenal and setting up Harry Kane (who else) to seal Spurs win in the derby.

Strikers

Christian Benteke – Crystal Palace (£5.5m) – 13 pts

The Belgian bulldozer ended his goal drought for Palace as he scored twice against West Brom. Roy Hodgson will be hoping he can now kick on and regain the confidence he has lacked since his Villa days.

Harry Kane – Tottenham (£10.9m) – 12 pts

Another game another record for the England captain. Kane is now the highest goalscorer in North London derbies, and you’d think he’s got a fair few more of those to play in his career.
