FPL Team Of The Week - GW12

We take a look back at the best performers this week including, Kane, Vardy & Pope in our FPL Team of the Week – GW12

Nick Pope (£5.4m) – 11 pts

The main rival to Jordan Pickford’s England place staked a great claim this weekend. Pope earned a clean sheet and save bonus points against Arsenal.

Jan Bednarek – Southampton (£4.6m) – 12 pts

Polish centre back Bednarek helped Saints to the easiest clean sheet of their lives. He also made an assist in their 3-0 win over struggling Sheffield United.

James Justin (£4.9m) – Leicester – 11 pts

Foxes full-back Justin has been taking full advantage of injuries to Pereira and Castagne, as well as the departure of Chilwell. A clean sheet and an assist this weekend for Justin.

Angelo Ogbonna – West Ham (£4.9m) – 11 pts

James Maddison – Leicester (£7m) – 16 pts
Maddison was instrumental in Leicester’s 3-0 win over Brighton. He will have impressed England boss Gareth Southgate with his 2 goals.

Gylfi Sigurdsson – Everton (£6.8m) – 11 pts

The Icelandic playmaker sealed a disappointing Saturday for Chelsea, as his penalty sealed all 3 points for Everton.

Miguel Almiron – Newcastle (£5.6m) – 9 pts

Almiron scored his first goal of the season against relegation candidates West Brom. His goal helped the Geordies to a 2-1 win.

Jeffrey Schlupp – Crystal Palace (£5.4m) – 9 pts

Schlupp scored the equaliser for Palace as they earned an impressive point against league leaders Tottenham.

Jamie Vardy – Leicester (£10.3m) – 13 pts

Vardy shows no signs of slowing down as he approaches his 34th birthday. Another goal and 2 assists against Brighton.

Bobby Decordova-Reid – Fulham (£5.3m) – 9 pts

Fulham were superb against Liverpool, and probably deserved more than their draw. Reid put Fulham in front with a superb strike.

Harry Kane – Tottenham (£10.9m) – 12 pts

England captain Kane became the highest points scorer in the league, and just the 2nd to pass 100 points (alongside Son, who else?). He also scored another goal against Crystal Palace, and was part of our weekly selections!
