FPL Team Of The Week - GW15

This week's highest scoring players.

FPL Team Of The Week - GW15

We take a look back at the best performers this week including, Bruno Fernandes & Patrick Bamford in our FPL Team of the Week – GW15

Goalkeeper

Illan Meslier – Leeds – 11 pts

Sean Dyche won’t be happy, but Leeds keeper Meslier makes the team thanks to a clean sheet (possibly helped by the referee) and save bonus points.

Defenders

Kortney Hause – Aston Villa – 14 pts

For the first time this season, a defender is the highest-scoring player. Hause was superb as 10 man Villa battered Crystal Palace 3-0. Hause also got on the score sheet.

Romain Saiss – Wolves – 10 pts

Saiss scored the equaliser for Wolves in their 1-1 draw with Tottenham. He also picked up 2 bonus points.

Lewis Dunk – Brighton – 9 pts

A goal and 2 bonus points earned Dunk his place in the side as the Seagulls drew 2-2 with West Ham in a game they probably should’ve won.

Midfielders

Bukayo Saka – Arsenal – 13 pts

England wing-back Saka was superb in Arsenal’s surprise 3-1 victory over Chelsea. Saka scored a brilliant goal and made an assist.

Bruno Fernandes – Manchester United – 12 pts

Ilkay Gundogan – Manchester City – 11 pts

The German midfielder scored in City’s 2-0 win over Newcastle. A clean sheet and bonus points boosted his score to 11 points.

Tanguy Ndombele – Tottenham – 11 pts

Ndombele opened the scoring in the first minute of Spurs 1-1 draw with Wolves. Mourinho will be looking for more players to take the goalscoring burden off of Kane and Son.

Gylfi Sigurdsson – Everton – 13 pts

The Icelandic magician has been in fine form recently, registering 32 points in his last 4 games. He scored the winner this week against Sheffield United.

Strikers

Ollie Watkins – Aston Villa – 11 pts

Somehow, Watkins did not receive any bonus points this week. However, his teammates received 3 assists off of the former Brentford striker.

Patrick Bamford – Leeds – 8 pts

Another pick that would infuriate Sean Dyche, and rightly so. Bamford won and scored Leeds winning penalty against Burnley.
