FPL Team Of The Week So Far - GW19

This week's highest scoring players.

FPL Team Of The Week So Far - GW19

We take a look back at the best performers so far this week including, John Stones & Mason Mount in our FPL Team of the Week So Far – GW19.

It’s double game week for a lot of teams, meaning we won’t know who gets in to team of the week until next weekend. However, we have compiled the TOTW so far and rate their chances of keeping their place.

Alisson – Liverpool – 10 pts

Brazil’s number one was in fine form as Liverpool drew 0-0 with title rivals Man United. His superb save from a Pogba shot denied United the win. With goal-shy Burnley up next, he should gain some more clean sheet points to keep his place.
Will he stay – YES

John Stones – Manchester City – 21 pts

I don’t think there is any debate about whether Stones stays in the side, it’s whether he will be captain. A clean sheet and 2 goals has highlighted his recent form, which must put him back in the England reckoning.
Will he stay – YES

Willy Boly – Wolves – 12 pts

It’s not often a player gives away a penalty, loses 3-2 at home to West Brom, and still makes the TOTW. Boly scored and assisted for Wolves though to almost save Wolves from his early mistake. Wolves don’t have another game this week, though, and there are plenty of players waiting in the wings to overtake.
Will he stay – NO

Ruben Dias – Manchester City – 11 pts

Dias has been superb for City this season, keeping Laporte out of the team. An assist and clean sheet against Palace earned his place in the side. A place he should keep, unless Pep decides to rotate the defence…
Will he stay – YES

Matheus Pereira – West Brom – 15 pts
Brazilian playmaker Pereira scored 2 penalties for the Baggies in their impressive 3-2 win at Wolves. They face a very good West Ham side next, who have not been conceding many. Pereira could struggle to add many to his tally there but should have just enough already.
Will he stay – YES

Youri Tielemans – Leicester City – 12 pts

The Foxes classy Belgian midfielder impressed with 2 assists against Southampton. With Chelsea up next, Leicester face yet another tough home game. Can he survive? I’m not so sure, more to come on this prediction.
Will he stay – NO

Mason Mount – Chelsea – 11 pts

Portsmouth fan Mount saved Chelsea against Fulham. Mount continues to impress over all the big-money signings. Chelsea did not look that great though and may struggle against Leicester.
Will he stay – NO

James Maddison – Leicester City – 9 pts

Maddison smashed Leicester in front against Saints. Like with Tielemans though, Leicester face Chelsea next. Chelsea may look to stay solid here, given the fact they are not playing that well at the moment. Leicester could find their chances limited and with players like Salah, Mane and Fernandes having more favourable fixtures, the Leicester boys are under threat.
Will he stay – NO

Neal Maupay – Brighton – 9 pts

Maupay scored Brighton’s winner against Leeds to earn his place in the side. Brighton, however, do not have another game this week, whereas the likes of Michail Antonio and Callum Robinson, who also scored 9 points, have another chance.

Will he stay – NO

Michail Antonio – West Ham – 9 pts

West Ham always look better with Antonio in the team. He scored their winner against Burnley and has another game against West Brom to try and add to that. We think he will.

Will he stay – YES

Callum Robinson – West Brom – 9 pts

Robinson won 2 penalties for Big Sam’s side to gain himself 2 assists. West Ham await the Baggies next, and Robinson may struggle to get the chances that Wolves gave West Brom. We think a midfielder may take his spot.

Will he stay – NO
