FPL - Game Week 26

Key players this week!

Welcome to our weekly team selection for all your Fantasy Premier League Football needs this FPL – Game Week 26.

FPL - Game Week 26

Game Week 26 is here! A big double game week with some tough decisions to be made on the captaincy, who would you go for?

Captain

Raheem Sterling (£11.6m) – Manchester City

Guardiola’s men have now won an incredible 18 wins in a row and have 2 home games coming up this game week. While they could be tough ones against West Ham and Wolves, you’d have to back them to remain unbeaten and Sterling could be the main man for City, after his winner against Arsenal.

Goalkeeper

Jordan Pickford (£4.8m) – Everton

Pickford gets a lot of stick, some deserved some not, but he has just made TOTW for his clean sheet at Anfield and Everton have 2 games coming up that they should win, against Southampton at home and West Brom away.

Defender

Eric Dier (£4.9m) – Tottenham

It’s an England fest this week, as our next pick is also part of Gareth Southgate’s squad. Spurs face Burnley and Fulham this week, both not known for scoring many. Eric Dier has been Jose’s first-choice centre-back this season so back him to bag some points.

Midfielder

Riyad Mahrez (£8.1m) – Manchester City

As we noted before, City are on an incredible run of form. If you want a midfielder that is only picked by 3.1% of teams and, if selected, the Algerian star is more than capable of grabbing himself goals and assists, just like his brilliant assist against Everton the other week.

Striker

Ollie Watkins (£6.5m) – Fulham

Everyone will be picking Harry Kane this week, so we won’t state the obvious. A much cheaper pick, though, is Villa’s Watkins. Villa face Leeds and Sheffield United, giving Watkins a great chance to add to his 10 goals this season.

Wildcard

Harvey Barnes (£6.9m) – Leicester

Normally this wouldn’t be a wildcard selection as Barnes has been in great form. However, an injured Jame Maddison changes things slightly.
