FPL Team Of The Week - GW26

This week's highest scoring players.

FPL Team Of The Week - GW26

Who made our FPL Team of the Week – GW26. Is Gareth Bale back to his best? Could Richarlison make it by scoring in his last few games?

Goalkeeper

Vicente Guaita – Crystal Palace – 16 pts

Two clean sheets for Palace’s Spanish stopper this week as Hodgson’s men bored their way to two 0-0 draws against Fulham and Manchester United.

Defenders

Andreas Christensen – Chelsea – 17 pts

A fantastic week for the Danish international as his return to the team resulted in a 0-0 draw against United and a 1-0 win over Liverpool at Anfield to put Chelsea back in the top 4.

Michael Keane – Everton – 17 pts

Everton had a very good week to back up their win at Liverpool last week. They beat Southampton and West Brom, both games ending 1-0, to give Keane big clean sheet points.

Kyle Bartley  – West Brom – 17 pts

Bartley earned 15 of his 17 points in the Baggies’ 1-0 win over Brighton, where he scored the winning goal in a controversial game.

Gary Cahill – Crystal Palace – 16 pts

Another player who has made the TOTW for helping his side keep 2 clean sheets in the week.

Davinson Sanchez – Tottenham – 15 pts

And another with 2 clean sheets. At least Spurs won both their games, including an impressive 4-0 win over Burnley and a 1-0 victory at Fulham.

Midfielders

Gareth Bale  – Tottenham – 21 pts

How great is it to see Bale on form? If only he’d have been given more time this season. 2 goals and an assist against Burnley gave the Welsh wizard 19 points from just that game.

Riyad Mahrez – Manchester City – 17 pts

An assist against West Ham was just the start for Mahrez as he backed that up with a goal and an assist against Wolves as City continued their incredible winning run.

Mason Mount – Chelsea – 14 pts

Portsmouth fan Mason Mount scored the winning goal for Chelsea against Liverpool with a smart finish. He also picked up a couple of points from the Blues clean sheets.

Strikers

Gabrial Jesus – Manchester City – 14 pts

The majority of Jesus’ points, 13 to be exact, came in his 2 goals against Wolves as City racked up another win.

Richarlison – Everton – 17 pts

The Brazilian forward scored in both games this week, making it 4 games in a row where he has netted. Both turned out to be winning goals too.
