FPL Team Of The Week - GW30

This week's highest scoring players.

FPL Team Of The Week - GW30

Who made our FPL Team of the Week – GW30. Matheus Pereira takes the captain’s armband with West Brom destroying Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Alisson – Liverpool – 6 pts

Liverpool returned to form this week with a 3-0 win at Arsenal, which was enough to earn Alisson clean sheet points, one of only 2 goalkeepers to keep a clean sheet all weekend.

Benjamin Mendy – Manchester City – 15 pts

The much-criticized (by me, mainly) left-back proved he has the ability as he got on the scoresheet and helped City to a clean sheet against Leicester.

Trent Alexander-Arnold – Liverpool – 12 pts

TAA has responded perfectly to being, fairly, left out of Gareth Southgate’s England squad. The bombarding full-back made an assist and helped the Reds to a clean sheet.

Seamus Coleman – Everton – 11 pts

Veteran Irish full-back Coleman makes a rare appearance in TOTW. He set up Everton’s goal and came off before the Toffees conceded so earned clean sheet points too.

Matheus Pereira  – West Brom – 21 pts
As fans of the Brazilian playmaker here, even we didn’t expect to see what happened at Stamford Bridge. Pereira was magnificent in scoring 2 goals on the stroke of halftime and setting up 2 more in the 2nd half.

Trezeguet  – Aston Villa – 14 pts

Trezeguet was only on for 28 minutes against Fulham, plenty of time to score twice and turn the game on its head as Villa earned a 3-1 victory.

Jack Harrison  – Leeds United – 13 pts

A goal and assist for the Leeds winger was enough to separate the 2 sides as Leeds beat Sheffield United 2-1 in a Yorkshire derby.

Nathan Redmond  – Southampton – 13 pts

Saints came from 2-0 behind to win 3-2 against Burnley. Redmond played a huge part in the turnaround with a goal and an assist at St Marys.

Jesse Lingard – West Ham – 12 pts

Honorable mention to Diogo Jota who also scored 12 points with his brace against Arsenal. However, JLingz makes the TOTW for his goal and assist against Wolves as the Hammers’ push for the top 4 continues to march on.

Callum Robinson – West Brom – 11 pts

I think they should let Robinson loan himself out to whoever is playing against Chelsea next. Another 2 goals against the West London side make it 4 in 3 for Robinson. He has not scored against any other Premier League side.
Harry Kane – Tottenham – 13 pts
Get out while you can Harry! Another 2 goals for the England captain and it still wasn’t enough for this Spurs side. Even Newcastle are taking points off of Jose Mourinho’s side.
